Here is where we are in the Age Of Technology and Intelligence. A supposed age where Intelligence should reign supreme – yet the choices we see for those wanting bigger butts by any means necessary results in more death, more disfigurement.  BOOTAILIA… our created word for those women who have Au Natural curves when it comes to the gluteus maximus is now an unhealthy obsession from THE HAVE NOTS. Ladies hear us that you must start valuing yourself at all costs. Having curves is not going to cure what is happening deep inside that needs to be addressed. Live long, Live strong, Live free of the obsessions.

1021 Magazine has taken on this very serious issue with women wanting more curves with the ever present factors always near – DEATH AND DISFIGUREMENT.  You are at risk when taking on the plastic surgery procedures to have work done even in a medical licence environment. Those who go to the desperate option of non medical licence environments, letting the quacks proceed to put their lives in the balance of death to disfigurement  – this is the tragedy. Truly these reported deaths, the reported disfigurements are falling upon deaf ears. The want is more than the likelihood of what could go wrong. It is time for more action to come into play with legislature.

The latest headline was a BET employee Kelly Mayhew from Maryland. Mayhew went in search of  dream to have curves with her mother accompanying.  The butt injections received from what we call a Quack went terribly wrong. The Quack left the scene where a dying Mayhew and Mother remained. No responsibility… just poof… gone.  As this story developed, it is reported more women were seen coming and leaving the residence of THE QUACK. These are the horrific consequences many will endure when you place your life in the hands of a QUACK… a Murderer. Fleeing the scene, we truly hope THE QUACK is found and given the proper punishment for such a moment gone too wrong.

A young woman is DEAD. A mother must bury, mourn her daughter and most likely play over and over in her mind where it all went wrong. This is a very sad moment.  It is time that all of us with our platforms who care -continue to speak out against the ideology that BOOTAILIA will make your life more better. To make your life more better, it all has to come from within. Mentally you need to be good with self, how you are, where you are in terms of your au natural creation. Those who want to change their bodies, you need to really be honest with yourself. Are you doing this for others to find you attractive? What are the reasons? Trust us when we say, YOU MUST HAVE MORE GOING FOR YOURSELF than your body for someone to really love you for you.

1021 Magazine will be doing more coverage on our various platforms regarding the BOOTAILIA SYNDROME, LOVING YOURSELF, LOVING YOUR BODY and making wise decisions on going forward with Plastic Surgery.  Risks are involved in ALL MEDICAL PROCEDURES. You need to bring more than your curves to someone’s life – even your life. You should want to be loved for more than your curves. You should love yourself despite the lack of curves.
